Psoriasis is an abnormal skin cell. That caused by the body’s immune system malfunctioning. Patients will have clear symptoms. Which inflame skin with white flakes. Psoriasis cannot be cured, but the symptoms. Can managed to prevent them from recurring or becoming more severe. For patients with moderate to severe symptoms. Causes of psoriasis

The cause of this disease is not clearly known, but doctors believe that it is a defect in the body’s immune system in the white blood cell section, resulting in faster-than-normal skin cell division, resulting in incomplete skin growth. There may be other factors that are the cause, such as: 

  • heredity 
  • Side effects of HIV infection
  • Side effects of medications used to treat high blood pressure or heart disease
  • Caused by excessive stress
  • Skin damage from wounds from objects, picking, or scratching until it becomes a wound, etc.
  • Changes in hormone levels
  • Exposure to chemicals and irritants 
  • Climates that can be too hot to cause sunburn

What are the symptoms of psoriasis? 

  • The skin is so dry that it cracks and bleeds.
  • A thick red rash with thick or fine white scales.
  • The rash has clear rings and scales.

Types of psoriasis 

Psoriasis can divided into many types base appearance or distribution. Each type has different characteristics and symptoms, as follows:

Thick rash type 

This is the most common type. It appears as a ยูฟ่าเบท thick red rash with clear borders and thick white or silver scales. This type of rash is what gave the disease its name, “psoriasis.” It is commonly found on the scalp, torso, arms, legs, and elbows and knees. Which areas that are frequently rubbed together.

Small rash type

It is a small red bump that looks like a small water droplet and has scales. It usually occurs in patients under 30 years of age. 

Type of pustule 

It appears as pustules spread across inflamed or red areas of the skin, and in some patients, a fever may also occur. 

A type of red, peeling rash all over the body 

It is a severe form of psoriasis, where the skin appears red and flaky all over the body.

Psoriasis in the folds 

It is a type where the lesions occur in the folds of the body, such as the armpits, under the breasts, or groin. It appears as a red rash but does not have scales.

Psoriasis on hands and feet

It occurs on the palms and soles of the feet and appears as a red, flaky rash. In some patients, the rash may spread to the backs of the hands and feet. 

Nail psoriasis 

Commonly found are nail deformities, thickening, and pitting because patients with psoriasis often have nail abnormalities as well. 

Psoriatic arthritis 

In some patients, there may also be inflammation of the joints. It can found in small joints, large joints, one joint, or multiple joints. If there is inflammation in the hands, it mostly occurs in the finger joints. If the symptoms are chronic, it may cause joint deformity.
